I would highly recommend Internet Commerce Corporation (ICCNet). As an independent EDI Consultant, it's the VAN service I suggest for all my clients.
Their service is very reliable and relatively cheap, and Customer Support is outstanding. My clients who use them have never had a Van issue. I do have an 'agent' relationship with them, but I entered into that because I love their service, not the other way around.
