Allen,

I've used WM for RosettaNet PIP processing and looked at it for EDI. At 
the time, back in 2001-2, the company I worked for used Gentran:Server 
for NT and  we could not find any significant reasons to migrate EDI to 
WM. The only reason I could see was to support our electronic trading 
partners on 1 platform rather than 2.

provided by WebMethods was immature but functional.

Saying that, if you have other reasons for using WebMethods besides 
EDI, I found it a very strong tool that allows for overall more 
functionality than any of the true EDI software packages I have used.
