Not sure if this will fit since it isn't really a "phrase" but more of a practice.
The practice of trading partners upgrading to a newer version (Kudo's for upgrading) and passing the buck to their trading partners (that's me) to pay for testing at the newer version.... usually to the tune of $350.00... that is my biggest pet peeve...
