Hi Michael,
You are correct!!! Harbinger had a product called ESRS. ESRS was a UCC-128
/ ASN solution that tied into TrustedLink Windows. ESRS target market was
the retail, CPG and healthcare supply chains. The packaging and ASN
requirements are defined by the Uniform Code Council (UCC).
Harbinger also had two other products: TL Bar (STBar) and TL Scan (STScan).
The target market for those products was the manufactures and distributors
of automotive or related supply chains. The packaging and ASN requirements
are defined be the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG).
In January 2000, Harbinger sold these products to e-SupplyLink (ESL). ESL
has consolidated the functionality of these products into one product called
ComplyLink. ComplyLink has evolved into the leading bar code / ASN packages
on the market.
Because ComplyLink is integrated to Inovis' TrustedLink product (among
others . see below), it would be an excellent fit for your needs.
Major enhancements for ComplyLink:
- ComplyLink supports the UCC requirements:
* PO (850)
* UPC label printing
* UCC-128 label printing
* VICS BOL
* 753 / 754 support
* ASN (856)
ComplyLink supports the AIAG requirements:
* ship schedule / material release
* part marking
* B-10 and PDF417 labels
* bar code packing list printing
* CUM management
* ASN (856 or DESADV)
- Expanded business partner relationships:
* Inovis: TrustedLink or BizConnect packages (partner
* Tie Commerce: EDGE or e-Vision
* Emanio: Trading Partner Desktop
* iConnect: iExchangeWeb
* Breva: Inovis products for Mexico
- Additional translator support
* Sterling Commerce: Gentran, GIS
* GXS: DesktopEDI
- Wireless scan routines to:
* pack items into containers
* verify shipment contents
ComplyLink will ported to the web. The first release is in the spring of
2006. The web product is based on the Java / J2EE architecture.
ESL is looking for business partners. Potential business partner
relationships are available to:
- eCommerce / EDI consultants and system integrators
- eCommerce / EDI software providers

Subject: [EDI-L] <Tech> ASN/UCC 128 Labels and TLW
Hello,
We use Inovis's TLW product as our EDI translator. We use the data
entry/print forms for what we do. Recently, some of our vendors are
mandating that put a UCC 128 label.
Can anyone on the List recommend a product that will integrate TLW, with a
printer?
A few years ago Harbinger had a product, ECRC, but as far as I know it
doesn't exist anymore.
What are other vendors doing to fulfill this requirement?
Thanks in advance.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah
