Not to be mean or anything, but where have you been ? The JCP TMS initiative is
years old.
That said, we have an in house solution. We first pack the order (ASN pack,
not physically), then calculate the weight and cube. After that, we upload it
to JCP. Once we get the results back, we change the ship to for the
appropriate orders and print the UCC128s. It used to be 48 hrs, but they
changed it to 72 hours. Which is nice when you have 10s of thousands of labels
to print.
You should probably look for a programmer/consultant.

Penney to support 753/754 X12 EDI doc
types. Although our EDI software (TrustedLink Windows) does support
these doc types, our ERP system does NOT. Do you know of any low cost
and effective modules/utilities that could somehow integrate to the ERP
system to create the appropriate outbound 753s and inbound 754s and
update the appropriate 856s in a way that would not be too much burden
on the user? Any ideas/experiences you can share will be greatly
appreciated !!
