I agree with you. As long as messages are properly identified, there is no
problem.

It's also a good way to support one another in the EDI community. Let's face
it, with the diminishing job security in our industry, this is a good forum
to help one another find place and find new jobs. The quality of job
candidates are probably higher here than traditional paths.

I have a question for the group. Do you find it a trend in seeing companies
separating the EDI system analyst and EDI developer roles into different
jobs? In the past, I've seen these roles combined.

I wonder if we are now going to see companies keeping EDI systems analysts
in the US, and outplace development overseas.

I completely disagree with Barbara.  As long as people
are polite enough to put the maker <JOBS> in the title
(that way providing a means for people to skip that
particular email, if the so desire), I see no reason
why a person looking for a job or a person looking for
a contractor/employee should not post here.
