Hello group, I've been running Gentran on the server since 2.0. Back in the day, in order to get the file name I wanted, I had to create collection mailbox and then an export mailbox to work the file name magic. Here is the situation, my application puts several files into a directory. They have little control over the name. It is dynamic and they can not specify any part of the name. So, I have created a collection mailbox to grab the files. Then I send it to an extract mailbox so that I can name it a file to be used with my system Import configuration. So, here is my question, is there a more efficient way? These files are ready to go into Gentran Application other than the file name. The transfer to two mailboxes is a problem for two reasons. It is a very large file, SAP IDOCs. The other problem is the number of situations that I have to do this. It has been requested that I automate the Import for our Production, QAS, and development systems. We have 3 SAP landscapes, so that works out to be 9 situations, 2 mailboxes each. I would just like to know if there is a better way.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks! Cindy [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
