You're probably thinking about CICA which is XML-based however it is not
a one-for-one replacement for EDI transaction sets.  There are three
industry categories for which schemas have been created:  Government (1
schema so far), Insurance (2 versions, 3 schemas total), and
Transportation (2 versions, 2 schemas total).
