        We're very sorry, but EDI is a very closed society, similar to
GIS and 
        webMethods. It has no
        career value, similar to GIS and webMethods. If your peeps don't

        anything about it, then
        they probably aren't in the posse either.
        
        What you should do is download and install the latest version of
the 
        MaPPer product via bittorent,
        and then configure your AS2 for VAN. Then just try a quick map.
Once 
        you've done that, you
        can put EDI, AS2 and MaPPer on your resume. The money's pretty
good - 
        after a year of experience
        you can easily get $100,000+ salary as a consultant. 
        
        If I were you, I'd go for it.
