I'm a partner with Softshare and recommend their Delta Translator and 
Enterprise Communication Software (ECS) package.  I believe someone on 
the list also just recommended it to you.  I'm send you separately the 
detailed descriptions of the products for your review.  (I don't believe 
the attachments will make it to the general list.)   Delta/ECS certainly 
meets your requirements for XML handling, partner profiles, and great 
error handling.
