Did Softshare at all approach you about "Crossing the aisle" to work for
them?
I know it doesn't happen often enough when things like this happen.
I was on the end of a similar thing 10 years ago. Only the company
buying
the code I worked on was a company I had worked for twice before, and I
would have gone back if asked. It would have involved a relocation I was
willing to make (California to Minnesota).

No kidding, I am looking for full time or contract work. The owners of my
former employer, PaperPak, have determined it is more cost efficient to move
their HQ from La La land to Nawth Carolina, dispite the fact that virtually
none of their HQ staff is moving with them. They must be a lot smarter than
