Srinivas,

Don't worry, EDI is not rocket science.  In fact, my brother-in-law is a rocket 
scientist and he doesn't know EDIs either.  And I don't know rocket science.

The point is, your expertise, whatever it is, is insufficient for you to "work 
on EDIs."

Hire somebody whose specialty is EDI.

If you tell us more about your assignment, we will be happy to point you in the 
correct direction, but don't insult us by asking us to tell you in a few lines 
what we have spent entire carreers learning.
