As mention before, it is possible to just send DTM+2 because of the way the segment is defined within the Segment Directory. However, if one wants to follow the ORDERS message "Data Segment Clarification" section (4.1 and its subsections) _EVERY_ DTM segment within that message should have a date/time/period value and the appropriate date/time/period format qualifier as identified in the normative Message specification.
