Position Title: EDI Specialist (Full Time - Direct Hire)
Location: Herndon, VA
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (3-5years, depending on work experience)

Job Description:
The client is in the process of ramping up the deployment of WDI 3.2
in the zOS mainframe environment. Immediate needs feature bi-
direction XML to EDI mapping and translation.
Here is the actual job posting:
Third tier production support for Middleware Infrastructure products
Problem determination and break/fix
Software installation/configuration
Interface with customers and vendors for problem resolution
I am actively pursuing additional contract staff to fill two
positions within the Middleware/EDI Technical Support team a
national data center in northern Virginia. Candidates will be
required to pass a thorough background investigation (BI) before
being able to access classified systems. Candidates will be able to
work on-site during which time the BI is being conducted.
Disqualifying demerits would include a criminal history, prior
bankruptcies, or any situation/behavior that would otherwise suggest
potential target for corruption.
Candidates for these positions should have at least 5 years
experience supporting real-time EDI processing systems. Experience
supporting WDI 3.2 is a must. DB2, CICS, and MQ Series skills are a
plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the conversion of existing SQL queries to new
environment.
Experience Required:
Minimum experience supporting real-time EDI processing systems
Experience supporting WDI3.2 is a must
Other Required Skills / experience:
DB2
DIS
MQ Series Skills
EDI Processing is a MUST
MS degree or BS with additional experience or AS with additional
experience
