Actually the 810 can be used as monthly billing -  The Utility industry uses it 
commonly for billing to its business customers.  Depending on the needs for 
content in the invoice you need to construct - you can utilize a combination of 
the IT1, SLN, and SAC segments in conjunction with the other EDI standard 
segments that you may wish to use.
