Hello all,

I recently left a company I worked with for 5 years as an EDI specialist.

  I was responsible for:

Insuring we received and processed incoming EDI documents. These included
850s, 860s, 852s, 754s , 864s and 997s
Insuring we verified terms and conditions, and turned around 855s when
required
Insuring that outgoing documents were accurate and processed. These included
810s, 856s, 997s and 753s.
Setting up new trading partner kits, including mapping.
Developing secondary systems that the software packages did not include.
Developing work arounds when the trading partner kit did not exactly conform
to the customers requirements
   Administering customer web-sites and portals
Investigating and verifying customer charge-backs. (Note: We had some of the
lowest EDI related charge backs with our major customers)
We were a mid-tier company. The EDI software packages we used were ASNPlus
(Now dis-continued), EDISoft, and GE Desktop EDI. For the custom/workaround
applications I used MS Access, SQL Server, and Visual Basic.

I was in the apparel industry. Our major customers were JC Penney, Sears,
Kohls, Mervyns (Old and new), Belk, Pamida, Shopko, May Company and Carson
Pirie Scott.

In addition to the appeal industry, I have 15 years experience in Aerospace,
Manufacturing Engineering and Government Contracts.

If you know of anyone that could use my expertise, please forward them to
this E-mail address. I am open to consulting, contract, part time or full time.

  Thank you in advance

  Tyrone Lumley
