This person will have direct contact with our customers via phone and
e-mail. We expect that the majority of the issues will be administrative
in nature and so we are looking for someone with significant experience
debugging problems in a variety of enterprise software systems
(application servers, databases, operating systems).

Responsibilities for the position include:
- Develop deep knowledge of the company's products as an
administrator would
- Provide technical assistance to the company's customers via both
phone and e-mail - Understand customers' problem statements,
troubleshoot and refine the issues, develop and communicate the solution
to customers
- Work with senior developers to resolve product-related issues,
including debugging and bug submission
- Track all customer interactions via the company's support tools
- Be an advocate for the supportability of the product and customer
needs by working with Product Management and Engineering
- Contribute articles to a developing knowledge base
- Carry a pager and work to resolve critical issues 24/7
- Be flexible with a 7am to 7pm (CST) rotational schedule.
- Infrequent travel may be required

The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and
expertise:
- Minimum of 2-3 years supporting enterprise software products
- Significant knowledge of administering EDI Platforms such as Trading
Partner Desktop, Gentran, TrustedLink.
- A Bachelor's degree in MIS or CS or additional experience
- Experience with complicated software products that involve multiple
components
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of typical enterprise network configurations and
environments
- Track record of strong troubleshooting skills and putting the customer
first
- Knowledge of EDI, XML and SQL
