David, This depends on what translator you are using. Our translator allows us to specify for the inbound documents *ANY for the GS sender id. Then when I setup the 997 I can specify for the GS code to turnaround the inbound document sender id and use it for the receiver id of the 997. I will state the help info on the GS receiver id given in the software: "Leave the default '*INCSEND' to reverse the GS sender and receiver IDs on the incoming group envelope and place them in the outgoing envelope for the functional acknowledgement."
