The process for exchanging orders for controlled substances is strictly
defined by the DEA.
The rules can be found on their website:
http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/ecomm/index.html.
In order to build your own process, you must follow all the rules and pass a
system audit.

A few vendors have "Controlled-Substance Ordering System (CSOS)"
solutions/packages such as:
Axway (was Cyclone Commerce)
http://www.axway.com/solutions/healthcare/csos.php
nuBridges (was iSoft) http://www.nubridges.com/solutions/csos_e222.htm
and, to a lesser extent, WebMethods
http://www1.webmethods.com/PDF/datasheets_1104/Solutions_datasheets/CSOS_Pha
rmaceuticals.pdf

Good luck!

Subject: [EDI-L] Schedule II Orders through EDI

Hi

Did anyone do the schedule II products through EDI. Few of our trading
partners wants to send them through EDI.

Did anyone had a chance to work on them. Out TP wants to send
encrypted 850 and 222 form with esignature through AS2. I have never
had a chance to work on these.

I think I can receive these through AS2 and place in a folder. But how
exactly I separate and translated and confirm the 222?????

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Vinodh
