This is largely a list for EDI professionals, and it sounds as if you 
need to clamber up the learning curve a little further before you can 
pose the sort of specific questions which the list is best suited to 
answer.

There are many others. I wish you every success in learning about EDI, 
but be warned that the nuances of its use in practice can take many 
months, if not years, to become familiar with.
