Today, for the first time, I was tasked with dealing with an output file from a Pick system, with all dates as a day count from the end of 1967. The reference above proved very useful, although it was strangely silent about how you implement FIX and INT functions in an EDI scripting language whose mathematical capabilities start and stop with the four basic arithmetic operations on floating point numbers :-( There was a way to do it.
