Subject: [EDI-L] <JOBS> Looking For Information Regarding a Position...

Hi everyone,

My company has asked me to help them get an idea of the salary range
for someone to replace me. The below description is the ideal
candidate; however, the requirements section is what is important.

What I am trying to get an idea from all of you is, What should this
position be advertised at based on the requirements? The position is
in a Pawtucket RI comapny, just south of the Massachusetts border.
They are not looking for a consultant/contractor, and they are not
looking to use a headhunter (so please, no third parties should
reply asking if they can help us find someone)

Any feedback you guys can give me to help figure out what they
should pay for this type of job would be greatly appreciated!

If you are looking for EDI work in the Pawtucket RI area, go ahead
and forward your resume. I'm NOT a headhunter, just someone who's
trying to help out his soon to be former employer.

Thanks,
Jon

P.S. - Before you ask, there is no way that they are going to pay
the new candidate what they were paying me! :) I was severely
underpaid for what I was doing in the first place (hence my moving
on), because I was not only doing EDI but also a significant amount
of .NET and SQL development. So using my salary as a reference point
doesn't work.
