DCS seeks a Sterling Commerce Gentran:Integrator™ EDI specialist.  
Two years full-time experience as a map writer, trading partner, and 
data transmission set-up and maintenance in a Microsoft Windows 
Server 2000™ or Unix environment are required.  Knowledge of Gentran 
Integration Suite™ is a plus.  EDI experience with Inovis 
TrustedLink™ or IBM Mercator™ will be considered.  This is a full-
time, permanent position located in Eden Prairie (Minneapolis), 
Minnesota.
Requirements
1.      Knowledge and experience with most retail and supply-chain 
related EDI transactions.  In addition, OUTbound Shipment Notice 
(ASN, 856) with multiple hierarchies, AS2 technology and UCCnet 
experience are recommended.  
2.      While programming will not be a primary focus of this 
position, ability to analyze code and communicate with programming 
staff is a benefit, enabling a better communication with the 
applications development and support teams.
May answer technical questions for upper management regarding trading 
partner issues.
Serves as a technical resource to users, researching issues and 
coaching on appropriate resolution methods.
3.      You may be permitted to work from your home lab after six-
months experience.  You will be compensated for over-time, nights, 
weekends, and holidays.  (DCS rarely requires extra time.)
4.      Education: Two years of college completed and a certificate 
in at least one programming language.
Travel Requirement:     Approximately 25%, one week monthly.  
Typically a one week on-site visit is required and the launch and the 
conclusion of a project.
