You need to look at your system import maps and how you have them
arranged on the imports tab in the configuration screen. The config
screen allows you to specify a particular system import map that
applies to all docs or to specific folders and using optional
document name filters.

In my system if I import a doc with "imp" in the first 3 characters
it uses one system import map to find the partner and map, but if the
file is named anything else it uses a different system import map. I
inherited a system with many, many different header layouts so I have
many different system import maps.
