Kumara Swamy Adurthi, Rule of thumb: If you don't understand why your trading partner is reporting an error, ask them - particularly if they don't send the very helpful AK2 or AK3 segments. Then check to make sure you are reporting errors with full utilization of the 997's reporting capabilities.
The error could be anything. I have a partner who reports an error because they "have problems with their business application." This is a total mis-use of 997 error-reporting, yet they do it repeatedly. Another flags my transactions because the ISA or GS sequence numbers are not in order. So ask.
