SEEBURGER Technical Support Engineer

A SEEBURGER Technical Support Engineer is responsible for responding
to customer support requests via the telephone, e-mail, or proactive
monitors. The TSE provides accurate, efficient and friendly customer
and issue resolution, leveraging the resources and training that we
make available.  
 Job Responsibilities: 
• Answer requests for technical assistance in a timely and proficient
manner
• Provide documentation, diagnosis and issue resolution
• Provide excellent customer service
• Stay on top of new technologies and trends affecting the supported
product or environment
Qualifications: 
• Above average communication skills (verbal, listening and written) 
• Problem solving mindset - ability to triage issues quickly and
handle unexpected cases
• Time management – ability to work a list of multiple tasks with
differing priorities through to completion over time. Focus on the big
things, while keeping lower priorities moving along also. 

Skills:
• Strongly Preferred: Extensive background in EDI/
Integration/Translation technologies, like Seeburger, Inovis, Gentran,
Datastage 
• Strongly Preferred: Strong knowledge of EDI and XML, including ANSI
X12 and/or EDIFACT
• Strongly Preferred: Exposure to SAP/IDOC, trading partner
configurations 
• Preferred: Experience with EAI tools like - See Beyond, TIBCO,
WebMethods, Biz Talk or CrossWorlds
