Folks,
If you are talking about GXS AI and Enterprise, they are not bad. I have
used them for over 7 years and they are exteremly flexible and powerful.
Writing a map in AI is like writing a piece of code in C or C++ (Not as
complicated as C or C++ though).
It is not user friendly at all like Gentran Products or Mercator, but it is
an expert friendly toolset and in fact most expert mappers don't use their
standard workdbench to write maps. They use text editors like UltraEdit
(my favourite) or Textpad to write the maps.
On the other hand, Enterprise is a very stable messaging gateway that tighly
integrates with AI. Again, it is not userfriendly to learn or use like
others like Tibco, Vitria, Gentan products.
