Job Duties :
Responsible for co-developing and following thru on an overall EDI /
e-commerce strategy for Fresh Express.Manages the day-to-day e-
commerce technical activities between Fresh Express Inc. and its
business customers/suppliers including EDI, VMI and other related
order management tools. Partners with multiple levels of management
to establish effective e-commerce solutions to a variety of company
operations.Develops and maintains relationships with internal e-
commerce users such as Customer Service and Accounts Receivable.
Serves as mentor, technical lead or team leader for designing,
developing and implementing projects, establishing cross-functional e-
commerce systems or processes, standardizing procedures,
providing/developing technical training and coaching to identified
groups, etc. Provides analysis and information via monthly call trend
reports and recommends improvements and solutions based on
findings.Provide daily technical support for all EDI activity.
Provide administration and support of EDI and related applications to
ensure a high level of system integrity. Ensure 99% uptime of inbound
and outbound VAN, FTP and AS2-based transactions. Aggressively manage
the implementation of new EDI customers and additional services to
existing customers. Provide high-level departmental and customer EDI
support. Develop and maintain systems documentation relating to
critical EDI information, policies and operating procedures.Works
with a minimal amount of supervision. Provides technical expertise
and project leadership for continual improvement and upgrades of
infrastructure and related applications.
Minimum Qualifications :
A minimum of 5 years EDI, project management and customer support
experience. Experienced in EDI mapping and maintenance functions.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications :
Experience with Inovis' Trusted Link EDI application. Prior
experience implementing and maintaining AS2-based customers. UCCNet
experience particularly with Inovis' product suite. Ability to
excel in a fast-paced team environment. XML experience also desired.
