GXS Van, GXS "Intelligent" Web Forms, Six Sigma...is
there no end to human misery?

Use anything but those forms.  If needs be, do a
google search on "Making Smoke Signals" because,
personally, I think that would be a much more secure
way to send an EDI message than using anything by GXS.
Another option might be morse code.
