Rate: Negotiable POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with vendors, trading partners, and internal functional teams to define EDI requirements. Create and maintain EDI mappings. Setup new EDI trading partnerships. Provide technical support of the EDI application, mappings, and interfaces. Provide 2nd level production support. Research, track, and resolve EDI issues. Work with VAN's to resolve transmission issues. Work with trading partners and internal functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and mapping issues. Maintain EDI documentation. Monitor daily EDI operations and performance. Analyze transaction files to identify data errors, transmission errors, and mapping errors. Integrate EDI functionality to business processes. Assist with the on-boarding of trading partners. Assist with trading partner compliancy. Additional responsibilities of the Senior EDI Technical Analyst: Work with vendors to maintain EDI software, such as the testing and application of patches and upgrades. Act as overall EDI subject matter expert from a technical standpoint as well as from a processes standpoint. Provide EDI technical leadership. Serve as the EDI lead on projects. Serve as a point of escalation for EDI related issues. Serve as a key EDI contact for vendors and internal functional organizations. Recommend and establish EDI process standards. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of EDI experience. Experience creating, changing, and maintaining mappings. Experience with EDI translators, Inovis strongly preferred. Experience with FTP and AS2. Experience with X12, UCS, and VICS. Experience with trading partner on-boarding. Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience with Inovis a strong plus. Retail experience a strong plus. AS400 experience a strong plus. Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and reasoning/analytical skills. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical and senior management audiences. Customer and results focused. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Senior EDI Technical Analyst position requires: 6+ years of EDI experience, including experience with translators, creating mappings, and trading partner management. Solid track record of increasing responsibility. Proven leadership and teambuilding capabilities. Hands-on experience with XML mapping. AS400 experience.
