A Medical company in North Dallas is seeking an individual to do EDI Production Support. This position is contract-to-hire.
Essential Job Functions: Provides production support of existing EDI processes and systems including, but not limited to, Sterling Gentran and Cyclone applications. Troubleshoot and respond to user questions / issues and escalate problems. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by analyzing information. Work collaboratively with internal and external resources to identify process improvements and areas for automation. Design, document, code and test automation of manual processes as assigned. Modis is currently seeking an EDI Production Support Analyst for a permanent opportunity in Dallas. Required Skills 2 years EDI processing experience. Knowledge of EDI X12 transaction standards. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Able to work independently. Attention to detail. Ability to identify, recommend and execute process enhancements Excellent teaming and collaboration skills Required Experience and Education 2 -3 years experience with EDI. Previous experience with Gentran is highly desirable. Pervious experience with Cyclone is highly desirable. 2 years experience designing queries using SQL.
