If you're just planning on doing EDI, for me it's somewhat of a tossup, 
though I lean toward TLE. The Gentran mapper is a bit easier to use for 
some things, but this is more than made up for by the hassle of dealing 
with BPML for even fairly simple operations. IMHO, GIS is a great 
product with many capabilities but way over-engineered if you're just 
going to do EDI. The TLE management interface is much easier to use for 
routine tasks like trading partner management, document tracking, and 
error tracking and resolution.
