Does anyone know if something needs to be configured in SAP to be
able to process the status file from the 997 documents?

We are running Gentran for the iseries, version 3.4.14 with the SAP
extension, interfacing to SAP.

I was on 3.4.0 or 1 whichever was the base release of 3.4

I have completed the install for the .14 fixes and we have been
running this for several weeks.

However something interesting has happened, we are not getting
automatic Status files that are trying to go from Gentran to SAP
based on the 997 documents. This is a great feature however our
STARTRFC job bombs out on this. We do bring status files back to
SAP for our outbound idocs stating the were received by the port
(Status 3) and they were processed without any syntax errors (Status
8) These work fine, and we have no STARTRFC issues.

Does anyone know if something needs to be configured in SAP to be
able to process the status file from the 997 documents?

The STARTRFC gives a pretty generic error message - File error on
open.

Sterling seems to believe our Gentran SAP extension is configured
correctly and has told us to verify the config in SAP.

(Interesting side note is this was feature in 3.3.x that was not
included in the base release of 3.4 because it was still under
developement. They have apologize for this. I was a little stumped
because initially I could not find anything in the 3.4.x release
notes stating anything about a new status file)

I appreciate your help.
