Well...
Those of us based in reality view BPML and others who say it will "REPLACE EDI" much as we viewed those who stated that "XML will replace EDI". (still waiting for that by-the-way) Uh.yea. Now, if you were to offer a complete, comprehensive, enterprise level BPML based application that can also translate EDI and XML and any-2-any, and the whole thing costs less than $1.00 (yes one dollar US) per year to purchase and maintain; then I can see it replacing current market translators. But if not, then I can't see people going for it at that level. Just my opinion.... ______________________________________________ Chris Cancilla From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Thomas Seay Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 6:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [EDI-L] BPML or BPEL Which of these two gods do you kneel before? Why? One of these two gods will finally bring about the demise of EDI. Those who cling EXCLUSIVELY to EDI will be like those who cling EXCLUSIVELY to mainframe, a vast multitiude scratching the earth for some residual carion. Dui bu dui?
