Hi Chuck- I have the same question as Donna...
If it is on the iSeries (AS/400) platform, the most recent version is v6.2, and you must migrate to v6.1 first before going to v6.2. At least that is what I had to do recently for a client who was many versions behind. I typically recommend loading the new version into a new set of libraries, like EDI6XXDTA & EDI6XXPGM, then running the EDIMIGRATE job. This job does take several hours, depending on the size of your files, number of maps, etc. However, the last two big migrations I ran had no significant errors, only a few dealing with standards discrepancies.
