Title: EDI Analyst/Developer (IT Analyst III, IT Analyst IV, or IT
Technical Lead) Posting Number: Post/Close Date: Description:
Applications development in EDI, to include converting business
requirements to development with Inbound/Outbound flow charts, data managers,
queues, scripting, translation, encryption and communication modules. Specific
emphasis in development utilizing Sterling Commerces Gentran Integration Suite
(GIS) on a Windows O/S platform or Unix/Oracle platform. Successful candidate
will also be required to work in a support capacity as needed. Acting as
Project Lead on small to medium projects may be required. Job duties will
require interacting with business customers, IT personnel and members of
management. Requirements:
BPML development experience required
Communication protocol experience required
EDI integration experience with SAP R/3 required
EDI integration with VANs required
EDI application experience with Sterling Commerce GIS required. Will
consider favorably on experience with other mainstream EDI applications, in
addition to GIS.
Experience with encryption and PGP utilizing public/private key
configuration Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to work within structured SDLC process and maintain strict
compliance
EDI Development including mapping/translation, scripting, and configuration
of communication protocols
