Overview: The EC Services department is responsible for implementing,
supporting and maintaining all corporate Electronic Commerce Initiatives
involving EDI, Internet and Web-based applications. Currently support
EDI trading partner relationships that support operational areas like
Finance, Distribution, Corporate Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales etc.
The department offers the opportunity to work on a fast moving
environment with an excellent opportunity for learning.

Responsibilities: Assume full project management responsibilities for EC
Services department projects including resource management, project plan
creation and maintenance, maintenance of issues logs and prioritization.
Additionally, the management of the people side of projects to provide
the motivating environment that will induce the team's personnel to work
as a team to accomplish its objectives. This position requires
coordination and interaction with other development areas within Liz IS
and IT departments, as well as with Trading Partners world-wide. 
* Full project management responsibilities including both the tasks and
the people side of project management 
* Plan/predetermine course of action for all responsible projects in
order to achieve project objectives 
* Establish and maintain project plans to meet deliverables with high
quality and milestone dates, on time and on budget 
* Obtain and manage project resources, business users and IT staff 
* Provide timely and accurate updates to project director/owner and
operating/steering committees 
* Provide direction to team members to facilitate planning and/or
solving technical problems and business/process related issues 
* Responsible for managing all Human Resources issues of team members,
Resource/Staff Development 
* Analyze and define business problems/issues and identify appropriate
solutions 
* Build relationships with functional manager across businesses,
functions and boundaries enhancing ability to understand concerns of
business managers and influence decisions on business strategies and
operations

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Must Have): 
* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent
work experience 
* 5+ years EDI experience in GXS AI environment 
* Proficiency in the following X12 documents: 
* 832, 850, 860, 855, 869, 870, 856, 810, 852, 820, 812, 824, 861, 864,
816, 211, 214, 753, 754. 
* Proficiency in the following EDIFACT documents: 
* ORDRSP, ORDRSP, DESADV, PRICAT, RECADV, INVOIC, SLSRPT. 
* Must have a basic understanding of the Unix platform and must be
proficient in all the basic Unix commands to navigate the AI environment
on a Unix system. 
* Must be a team player with a can-do attitude and be able to multi-task
in a constantly changing environment. 
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Project software. 
* 2+ years managing/supervising a multiple resource team, including
users and IT professionals 
* Experience with project management and product development
methodologies 
* Be well-organized, goal-oriented and process-driven 
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills 
* Ability to resolve conflicts and motivate team members 
* A lively personality and an ability to survive in a dynamic creative
environment are also useful attributes 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
* Unix Programming Skills: C, Awk, Korn Shell Scripting, HTML, XML, Java
Script 
* Experience in Bizlink AS2 products 
* Working knowledge of apparel business

Required Skills: * Microsoft Office Suite including Project Plan, Word,
Excel, Power Point, and Visio (must have) 
* AI 4.1 and higher, EDISIM, Unix knowledge, Microsoft Office and
Project. 
* Test Director (a plus) 
* Programming languages/tools (a plus
