Leslie, We transmit the retail price of the products being ordered from our TPs. We've initiated a pre-ticketing program so our vendors ticket the item with our SKU, the price and some other information.
All of that information is transmitted on our outbound PO in the item loop(s): (obviously modified to not include "real" data) PO1*1*680*EA*X**UP*XXXXXXXXXXXX*SK*XX*LT*4*GE*XX*VN*XX*IZ*55 CTP**RTL*##.## MSG*TICKET ID1 MSG*XXXX In the PO1 segment, we send the quantity, UOM, cost, UPC, our SKU, vendor case pack (LT), item description (GE), vendor style (VN) and size (IZ). In the CTP segment, we have the retail price shown (RTL). The MSG segments then relate to pricing/ticketing information - we send our internal Item Class number in the 2nd MSG segment. We also have SAC segments at the item level (but I removed from this example), as there may be different allowances or charges for the different items from the same vendor/source. Again, we use this data for our ticketing program. And this data goes out to all trading partners - whether a pre-ticket vendor or not. We've been doing it this way for about 3 years now...
