Uppaji,

Your revised e-mail doesn't clear up all the confusion.  UNA has no
control numbers associated with it.  It is merely a prefix segment that
can be included to specify separator characters used within.  Therefore,
the UNB is the first segment you would be sending in EDIFACT
interchanges and it does have a control number which should be matching
the UNB control number returned in the UNI segment of the CONTRL
document.  You should be able to match back that way.
