I am not really talking about what to use or not to use and I am not under the 
gun or being told what to use.
My "native tongue" is X12 and my "second language" would be XML .. ha ha ha
Just looking for the pro's and con's of both X12 and EDIFACT.

PS. I believe... ha ha ha ha

I was once told that XML would replace EDI. A few years back I was 
told that RFID would replace EDI. I was recently told that "web 
services" would replace EDI and that SAP was going to no longer use 
the IDoc.

When I was younger I was told that Santa left gifts under the tree and 
that some Easter Bunny left eggs in the yard. 

I'll switch to whatever my trading partners want to use - even pony 
express.
