I concur, although sometimes they're converted to TXTRAW IDOCs and brought into 
workflow or a custom report in SAP (fancy rip-n-read).  Also got one once 
letting us know a plant had burned down.  You just never know....

information changes, down times, holiday hours, etc..  They are 
rip'n'read and emailed to the user.
