Steve, Having used both EDI/Open and TLE, I'm sorry to say that as good as TLE is, the mapping capability is nowhere as good as EDI/Open.
Having used TLE prior to EDI/Open, when it came time to change I opted to go a different direction, and I wasn't disappointed in my choice. Recently I fulfilled a contract that required use of TLE. It was surprising how easily it all came back to me after seven years layoff. But it wasn't any better than it was all those years ago. I still like Softshare. Good luck!
