This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining Client's 
E-Business strategies.  The end result will be a high quality 
electronic data exchange systems with Client's customers & 
suppliers.  The e-business exchange engineer will be responsible for 
programming & development of new EDI/B2B trading partner 
implementations as well as ongoing day-to-day maintenance of 
production  EDI/B2B  systems. The position also requires a weekly on-
call support rotation.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related degree, OR 7 yrs. 
specific related experience in lieu of degree 

7 years experience w/ EDI/B2B eCommerce technologies & methodologies 
including: Strong ability to document through Visio using SDLC method
Strong Gentran Server for Windows (v. 5.0 +) experience.  DBA skills 
& strong DB SQL experience w/ views, indexes and stored procs. 
B2B platform -to-platform & EDI trading partner  Integration 
development using VB 6.0, VBScript, Windows Shell / Dos Scripting
Familiarity and hands on experience with Microsoft SQL server, Oracle 
9i.  DB report writing exp with MS Access or Crystal.
Hands on experience and understanding of DB schemas, joins & Access 
forms dev.  Strong business analysis skills.

PREFERRED
hands on exp w/ various ANSI X12 transactions such as 810, 820, 850, 
855, and 856 transactions.
SPEC2000 experience and exposure.
Web Methods business process flow development & dev tools such as 
Java, EJB, JSP, JavaScript(client/server side)
MQ series or similar middleware technology exposure & Web services 
integration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Formal Traihands on Experience with various B2B formats, such as ANSI 
X12, SPEC2000, XML, and Flat File 
definitions
PREFERRED
Experience with Gentran server for Windows
