If the data you want to save is on the header of the left side
(inbound) of the map the perhaps the easier thing to do is save it to
a variable. Logically, the date on the header applies to every line
underneath. Start at the top of the map and go to edit, session
rules. Pre-session, define your variable "datetime mydate;" or string
if that's how you want it. Then in your DTM group when you have found
the date you want to save use an extended rule to save that field
contents to your date variable. mydate = #field; From there on out
in the map you may use the variable mydate wherever you want and not
have to worry about indexes and groups and what not. That, of course,
is only because your particular example is easy and your date is right
on the header.
