GXS is doing this to "help" you. Tell them you don't want/need these characters and ask them to stop sending them. Check to make sure you have the correct hex values before you do so, it's likely it's either a 0a or a 0a 0d.
Good Luck, Leah ________________________________ From: Uppaji Kothapalli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: EDI Group <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 9, 2008 1:04:47 PM Subject: [EDI-L] Invalid characters at end of EDI file. Hi We use TLE 6.05. Both Windows and Unix. We recently migrated from Unix platform to WIndows platform. We continue to use the same GXS mailbox to pull the data. Nothing is changed on the GXS side. However, the data coming into Windows is having issues. We get the same problem everytime we receive more than one files. TLE couldn't find the enveloping for the second interchage. Third interchange translated fine but forth interchange failed. According to the Inovis, this could be due to GXS places a character at the end of the transmission, i.e. ^Z. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Plesae share your comments and any clues you may have to overcome this. Thanks in advance. Have a good day!! UK.
