Lucky you. In the majority of DESADV messages I have encountered there 
is no packing hierarchy and the CPS segment occurs only once to satisfy 
the syntax requirements. Pallet identification is designated at line 
level. In the automotive branch there did use to be an explicit 
hierarchy but, since outsourcing killed the local component supply 
business in the UK about a decade ago, I haven't seen one of those for 
quite a while.

The 9999 repeat count is interesting. I know that in our converters a 
repeat count greater than 9998 causes iteration checking to be turned 
off. There must have been a reason for doing this but after twenty years 
I cannot remember if this was formally allowed, informally practised, or 
just a happy notion.
