Uppaji, Until this Summer, Rite Aid used no-IT1 810s for DSD Invoicing (SACs were not mandatory).
This was for everything from window-washers, lawn services, dairy/soda/newpaper deliveries, etc. I never was sure how they figured out what they were getting billed for and reconciled their sales and cost of goods sold. Weren't they in Chapter 11 a few years ago? This might explain things. NOW, they require DSD 810s with detail. Hi all, I just want to get a feel from you if you do/comeacross 810 messages without the line level information (IT1). I am dealing with a situation where the invoices are done for contracts and leases. There may not be a "part number" per say. So, is it feasible to do 810 messages without IT1 segments? Do you see any isuses/loop holes in this approach?? Please share your comments. Thanks and have a good day!!!
