Uppaji,

Until this Summer, Rite Aid used no-IT1 810s for DSD Invoicing (SACs were not
mandatory).

This was for everything from window-washers, lawn services, dairy/soda/newpaper
deliveries, etc.

I never was sure how they figured out what they were getting billed for and
reconciled their sales and cost of goods sold. Weren't they in Chapter 11 a
few years ago? This might explain things.

NOW, they require DSD 810s with detail.

Subject: [EDI-L] 810 message without IT1 segemnt.

Hi all, I just want to get a feel from you if you do/comeacross 810 messages
without the line level information (IT1).
I am dealing with a situation where the invoices are done for contracts and
leases. There may not be a "part number" per say.
So, is it feasible to do 810 messages without IT1 segments? Do you see any
isuses/loop holes in this approach??

Please share your comments.
Thanks and have a good day!!!
Best Regards
UK
