I have a client in the Philadelphia, PA area that needs a strong EDI developer
with Sterling experience.
This is a long term contract (1 year)
Person has to work onsite 3 days a week and can work remotely the other 2 days
Needs to HAVE BPML.
You don't need to have everything but need to have BPML experience
· Defines best practices for using Sterling Business Integration Suite
including :
· Sterling Collaboration Network
o Sterling Integrator 5.0
o Sterling File Gateway 5.0
o Sterling Community Manager
o Sterling Perimeter Server
Develops a framework for implementing Sterling Business Integration Suite B2B
jobs incorporating best practices in a standardized format
Develop Sterling Business Integration Suite jobs using above framework for
various data loading and extracting projects
Develops LINUX shell scripts to run above processes
Develops JAVA extensions to Sterling Integrator
Train team members in use of Sterling Business Integration Suite and best
practices
· MUST HAVE DEMONSRTATED ALL following development skills within Sterling
Integrator:
o Developing Business Process Workflows (number 1 priority)
§ Using Graphical Interface
§ Using BPML code in a text editor
o Developing MAPS
o Tuning Workflows and Maps
o XML handling and conversion
o XSLT translations
· Should have Proven Experience in developing Java based extensions to
Sterling Integrator
· 3 to 5 years experience in designing and developing in Sterling
Commerce's BIS Solution Suite (ideally latest version 5.0)
· Proven experience in specifying best practices for Sterling Business
Integration Suite job development
· Proven experience in training resources in use of Sterling Business
Integration Suite
· Proven ability to mentor in a team-oriented environment.
· Experience installing and tuning Sterling Integrator products.
· Experience working in Linux environments
· Experience with Oracle 10g database environments
· Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability
to be both directive and collaborative
· Strong writing/documentation skills
