The good news is that the total pallet number *is* normally sent in a 
PAC segment after the first CPS.

The less good news is that pallet description and code information can 
be mapped in a variety of ways, including replication in every LIN 
group. The structure of a DESADV message depends very much on how you 
build up your shipments. You need to talk to your trading partner.
