Truly, it would not be in their (GXS) best interest to kill the TrustedLink product... There are far too many users of the various versions (i-series, enterprise, windows, etc.) out there - world wide - for GXS to be able to kill it and try to force adoption of their own program(s)...
What we probably will see is the merging of the GXS products and the Inovis products into more similar systems with (at that point) a gradual shifting away from one platform to the other... GXS didn't buy Inovis just to kill them off - more it was to gather both the product lines AND the customer base. Just like Inovis didn't buy out QRS way back when to just kill off the programs. Instead, they phased out some aspects (the use of IBM Advantis network, for example) and then stepped up to the plate with their own networks. Ironically, Advantis was then taken up by GXS (right?)... At least that's My take on it...
